I founded OLNY Media in late 2011 after an internal struggle in my mind. The question was: How could I do justice to the multiple professional and academic skills I have spent so many years to develop? I have been a journalist since the early 2000s [see some of my articles] but I have also conducted considerable research into cultural heritage [see some of my publications]. I have developed expertise in new media didactics and have acquired insight into the best media practices in educational settings. At the same time, I taught Contemporary Media Culture at the University of Amsterdam in the past and I am currently teaching New Media & Online Journalism at the University of Rotterdam; I have moderated and spoken at many international forums. These are just a few of my facets. OLNY Media, thus, is a place where I feel best at home. Each of my facets and skills has a place. What I find most exciting is how the various aspects relating to media intersect and  cross-fertilise each other. The services and products I propose to offer you are inspired and driven by this multidisciplinary approach.
